Thinking of making the journey to Rutland on Saturday.... Anyone else going to be doing the same?

Unfortunately Friday is a no go for me as I have a job to get finished for that day here at the mus.... weather looks to be similar for both Fri and Sat....

phil, i was thinking of going to spurn observatory on sunday for a week so i just might make the run to rutland on sat and try and find someone in the area where i can bunk the night. Splits my trip to spurn in 2 making it a more tolerable drive. What time do u intend to go to rutland on sat?

I might well have a spare bed where I'm staying, Uppingham Morcott Travel Lodge, about 5 miles south of Rutland water.

I won't know for sure till saturday morning, depends on a close friends plans, phone me on 0797-1965369, a good price, a cuppa.

I'm there Friday (mid-day), Saturday & Sunday.

thanks ray for the kind offer. I've just had unexpected family problems, seems some relations are flying into london on friday night and i'm expected to do some entertaining while they're here. Argh, the joys of being a foreign student abroad!
