I just wanted share these shots because they astounded me with their beautiful, natural arrangments. These are from the same stream, and same day, as my other posts.
The scene around this shot is just amazing. I tried to simplify the scene to its most striking subject. The water is from a small off-shoot of the main stream which cuts a corner just to rejoin again. The water flows quitely down solid rock, as it banks corners and finally pools here. This is a slight crop that I think is a little tight on the right. I'll open it up more when I'm ready to reprocess it.
This second shot is just upstream and an amazingly dense arrangemnt of wildflowers which extends beyond my composition. The comp cuts the falls exactly at their peak because the brightness of the sky was beyond my 3-step grad. I know it's a busy scene but, I think it was a cool find and like it as a documentary shot.
These are my last shots from that day so, I won't bug you all with any more!

Hans, that second shot looks like a water and rock garden in someone's well manicured backyard. Good catch here. Knowing it is wild makes it that much more amazing.
