American Basin Last Sunday PM
There were two thunderstorms on Sunday and one Monday that started with hail almost as soon as I got to Sloan Lake. By the time I was part way down the hill, the lightening and thunder were less than a second appart...too close for my comfort when above the timberline.

The flowers are past their prime but there are still many there and the scenery is great.

A couple of minutes before the hail started hitting Sloan Lake...

There are still plenty of flowers to shoot.

Hey Dave, that's a terrific little cascade--and nice job on the exposure. The image could be just a little bit brighter overall. I love your comp on the flowers as well--good job!

Grewat images. I really like the first shot. I also like the black bacground in the third image.
