Emerald Pool Creek
Taken last weekend up around Hood. I liked how this had little cascades coming into the little pool of water and then back out again.....

Thanks for looking and leaving a comment or critique

I dig this big time, Darren! I'm going somewhere this Saturday, I just know it!

Nice one. I like the sharpness of the rocks and moss in the foreground and the smooth water is cool.

nice image, good color! The only nit I have is the small wave on the lower right, just above the smooth water, may want to crop that out IMO.

Awesome work my friend. I really like the water on the far left; nice touch.

Your pictures are looking really good lately. This is no exception.

Don't know exactly what Larry's serving up a pitcher of, but make sure it's pasteurized, not vulcanized

Well done, Darren. I usually like to see a bit more detail in the water flow, but this works well because the rocks are so sharp and full of detail. I like the comp as well.

Really good, Darren. Dreamy, in fact. In this case the smoothed out white water/current enhances that feeling. Really great comp, too, and agree with the crop on the right side alrready mentioned.

Nicely composed shot Darren. The portrayal of a mood seems spot-on. I've been back to this a few times and each time my attention is fixated on the brighter foliage and log in the background. No one else has mentioned this and so it's probably just me.

Darren,
This has to be my favorite stream shot of yours that you have posted. I love the low angle and the silkiness of the water and how it flows out of the frame. Nice work!

Nice work, Darren - I'm impressed that you were bold enough to go out there and shoot a stream scene in the middle of August! Well done. Looks like it might be Camp Creek... or Still Creek?
