Mount Hood Morning...(with repost)
Still going through archives from last years stuff. Hard to get out as often now with two kids. So I'm glad I have these archives. Shot last Dec. on my first and last snow shoe trek of that winter. This year should prove to be a better one. Anyway thanks for looking.:)

I like the elements here. A nice glow in the sky, on the mountain and good placement of the reflection. Some interesting clouds would be nice, but not a deal breaker in my opinion.

Incredibly beautiful image. The colors, the light, the sharpness and the mood. Great composition.

I like how you captured the alpenglow on Hood and the pastel sky behind it and of course the reflection, makes for nice triangle of interest. A good winter sunrise image Jeremy.

Gorgeous light on the mountain. This is a well crafted image. This is an image of a cold winter scene, but it feels warm like coals on the hearth. :toast: :toast:

Very beautiful Jeremy. I love the splash of color in the mountain and in it's reflection. Would you have been able to leave a touch more space at the bottom of the frame and also to get the waters edge in on the RH side? Those are the only tid bits of suggestion that I have.

This is a really nice view of Hood. I like the simplicity of your palate here. I see what you mean about the clouds. The sky on the top left seems a little blank. Have you thought of cropping some off the left?

Sorry to hear it was the "first and last" snowshoe. I guess one snowshoe trip is a lot better than no snowshoe trips. How far did you have to walk back in the dark?

Really nice, Jeremy. The LRC bothers me a bit, I don't like that little wedge of snow bank, but that's just a minor nit.

Nice throughout Jeremy - I like it! Wish I had the ambition to get ones like this...

Well done Jeremy. I like the elements, light, and crispness of the scene. I think this would be very nice in a big print.

Wish I was there now! I'd bring out the blues a bit more here for that Winter feeling.

Nice, Jeremy - beautiful, subtle colors, and surprisingly pristine snow, given the location!

Here a repost with a tad more blue. I do think it makes it stronger, thanks Marc. I may have over done it....?

I looked at this earlier before heading to North Plains for the evening, and coming back and looking again I think it looks better in the repost....
