Emerging from the mist
Another photo from last winter, but this time before snow. Morning mist is (fortunatelly) very common in this part of my country at colder part of the year and is one of my favorite subjects. But instead of going for top view, this time I decided to try something different.

135 mm LF, Velvia 100F, tripod

Cheers,
Marko

Now that would grace any wall, wonderful colours brought out by the oncoming snow.
Best wishes

It's the simplicity of the scene that catches my eye first and formost followed by that wonderful graduated background.
Like it a lot.

I love the simplicity of this. Can I ask how you scan you 4x5.

Absolutely superb again Marko - the mist is just magical. You're very lucky if you get lots of it! Tristan

Congrats on a beautiful series of images. They all have great composition, colour and a great sense of wilderness :toast: :toast:

Thanks again folks for your comments.

Tom for web I got Canon 9950f, but for "real stuff" like prints or agency a lab is doing me drum scans. They are expensive, but much better than Imacon that previous lab used. The biggest difference is in shadow noise and dynamic range (and in my case more skilled operator).

Marko
