Noticed some RMNP'rs were looking for fields of sunflowers a couple weeks ago. Driving home from DIA on Wednesday evening I saw some pretty good fields of sunflowers just West of the Northwest Parkway about a mile or so North of Pena.

Hey Jim! Good to see you posting. How did your photos from Chautauqua turn out from a couple of months ago? I've heard about the sunflowers around DIA and I might go check them out for sunrise sometime next week. There was a farm on I-25 near Longmont that used to have fields of them but I guess they don't this year.

Speaking of sunflowers, Driving up to Cheyenne last weekend, there were several large fields along I-25 just south of the Ft Collins exits, I think about exit 282 or so. I was thinking about Stan and forgot to post.

In recent years there have been some big fields along Hwy 52 west of I-25. Not this year though. It's all corn this year.
