Butler Gulch Stream
I took a quick trip up Butler Gulch last weekend thinking the flower bloom would be mostly over, but needed to relieve a few work anxieties. I was pleasantly surprized at the flowers. Probably not a show stopper, but perhaps a pleasant view of some later blooms that may still be out there.

Soothing image to say the least Roger. Thanks for the tip. Perhaps wildflower season isn't totally over yet!

I was surprised at how many flowers there were up at 12K and above on the Hermit Pass road. Even saw a couple of nice columbines. This is a sweet shot, Roger. "Pleasant" and "show stopper" are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

Nice classic shot - I love it! It's not easy to capture the dynamic range you did in this image - nice work!

I really like this, Roger. The dark trees at top contrast nicely with the bright green vegetation and flowers. Nice work!

This is really nice, Roger. The flowers really frame up the cascades nicely. Great job on the exposure, too!

I really dig this Roger! Wonderful composition and flow! Love the darker trees at the top!

Very nice Roger. The shadow areas really make the flowers stand out. And the flow of water, especially over that big rock, is great!

I've always have been a sucker for blurred streams and this is a beauty.
