I drove over to Willow Falls State Park a couple of weeks ago to photograph Willow Falls. It was a hot day so the falls was crowded with folks cooling off. I did find a small area at the side of the falls to take some photographs. I liked the feeling conveyed by this photo.

Phil,

Yes I am still lurking......the comp ia great..
When I shoot these kind of areas ( and there are lots here in the gorge). I shoot them at various shutter speeds then evaluate them on my screen for which one I like the most.. Yes, its all subjective. I'dFor me, I would probably shoot this just a but less silky. Hwwever I love this shot. I'd put a nice boarder aroind it, perhapr, black, a bit of white the an nice black mat.. it will look great.

Nice job!

Phil,

I too love this shot. I might consider cropping off the left maybe a tad closer to the vertical fall coming down. Good SS choice! :wavey:

Phil,

I like the overall feel of the image. The way some of the water looks like smoke or mist really works for me. I also like the fact that the overall scale of the image is left to interpretation. Nicely done.

Nice water abstract here Phil. I agree that a border would help the web presentation a bit. The diagonal flow of the water is particularly effective.
