Can't get the picture. Computer help?

I am using a backup computer while my computer is being repaired. When I try to open a picture from a thumbnail it does not open. I get the comments but no picture.
I am also not getting all the graphics such as some of the lines.
Any ideas. Plugins??

Internet Explorer: Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Tab then scrool down to Multimedia, make sure that "show pictures" is checked, click it if it is not, then click apply, then click ok. You may need to close IE, then reopen for the change to take effect

I just dowloaded the latest Javascript and it is enabled but still no luck. Suggestions welcomed.

Have you tried clearing the cache? I have the same problem with Mozilla Firefox and that does the trick for me.
