Upper Spray Park
Looking at Mark Windom's BW gave me the idea to try a BW on an image I was frustrated with. I wasn't too unhappy how it turned out considering I am always frustrated with my BW conversions too

Another good candidate for B&W! (just looking at Mark's image, too) Not sure if you already tried it, but just a few more hints of detail in the LRC would be great, though I like the general darkness of the foreground. Just a hint of burning in the left mid-ground would be nice, too, to bring out a bit more contrast and cool off the highlights. The lenticular cloud is spectacular, of course! I think they really lend themselves to B&W format - this looks like Uncle Ansel, himself, might have taken it!

The stark landscape really lends itself to B&W, IMO and this is a good example of that. I agree with Tom's suggestion to lighten the LRC. Nice stuff.

Thanks, I will work on it a little more. In some way, it seems BW is harder to get right than color. Little adjustments seem to have more impact.

Much more imapct in B/W, the lower right might be worht opening up a bit and possibly just backing off on the highlights a notch, the lenticular seems a bit blown out
