Saturday afternoon I went out t Multnomah Falls to check out Mark and my Brothers photo booth. There was quite a bit of traffic and there was alot of interest in their booth. They both displayed quite a few nice pieces of work. From what I observed, their booth was by far the most popular. If you folks are interested, They are out there today also. I was proud that my bro didn't display his Babopillar shot.

Wow - you couldn't pick a nicer spot for this! I see a shot of Oneonta Falls back there... So I'm wondering, do the locales affect which photos sell (e.g., waterfalls at a Gorge venue, seascapes on the coast)? Also, do the matted photos in the bins sell as well as the framed images..? Sorry... lots of newbie questions..!

Looks like a great booth and some excellent work hanging up there. Good luck to you both!

Thanks for the post Erik. I was in my office doing some boring paperwork, and your post gave me an excuse to drive to the Gorge. I really enjoyed meeting you guys and discussing your beautiful photographs. Thanks again for the advice you've given to me on this board.

Thanks everyone,
We had a good time and heard each other's descriptions of our respective photos WAY too many times! I can't say it was a big money maker but it did make each of us more money than we had on Friday.
It was great meeting Richard, and thanks to Jerry for coming out.
Way to go, guys! If only I weren't working this weekend, I would've stopped by.

Hey guys! Thanks for the support. I had two shows this weekend...kind of double booked myself. Amy came over for the weekend and covered my West Linn show, that was a life saver. It made last week a nightmare getting over 120 pieces all ready to go for both.
As far as which type of images sell at which types of locations...I'll say that for the most part, it has made no difference. At the coast, the mountains, gorge, in the city, art shows at vineyards...people all just buy what appeals to them...and that could be anything.
I was extremely happy to get rid of two framed images that have stuck around for a while (need to reprocess them, since they were 2 years old or more). You can never really guess what type of person will come up to your booth.
It was great to see Jerry again, and also meet you too Richard!
