Another Wild and Scenic River for NC?

Anyone ever heard of this place? Its in northeastern NC.

Richard, it is not too far from the Pasquotank River and the Merchant's Millpond State Park. It is near the town of Hertford. I've canoed it years ago and it is a beautiful river.

Bill is correct... It flows through Hertford, which is on HWY 17 between Edenton and Elizabeth City. If you paddle north from Hertford it weaves through swamp and lowlands. If you paddle south it widens quite a bit and empties into Albemarle Sound, just be careful of the point. The Harvey Point defense testing facility is there and they are extremely protective of its security. It's a very nice scenic river.
