Hi All,
I'm heading to Vail tomorrow and am hoping to find one or two easy-to-moderate hikes in the area - preferably with something cool to photograph along the way.
My Wildflowers of Colorado suggests several, including Booth Falls.
As I'm not at all familiar with the area, I'm looking for ideas from you experts out there.
Piney Lake north of Vail. Road is accessed from the north frontage road near middle of Vail. Look for a brown forest service access sign. Shrine Pass to the west of I-70, at the top of Vail Pass.
