Guided Fall Color Trips in Moab
Though it's hard to believe with day time temperatures still hovering around 100 degrees, fall is right around the corner in Moab. Local canyons will soon be filled with golden leaved cottonwoods and the tourists will be long gone. Add to that a big dose of sunshine and cooler days and you've got an ideal hiking climate!

Join me for a custom photography excursion and you'll see a whole new side of the red rock country around Moab. I also offer custom photo itineraries for those who would rather explore on their own but need a little guidance to find the peak fall colors.

Click here for more information on my guiding services.

Also, professional photographer Andy Biggs and I are offering a Moab: Off the Beaten Path workshop from November 30 - December 3, 2007. This workshop is being sponsored by Moab by Legion Paper, and will include free paper and materials during our day of digital printing.

I hope to see you in the desert this fall! As always, feel free to call or email with questions.

Bret, that sounds tempting! The photo you posted here is awesome! Soon, we will have the colors. The weather forecast for Southern Utah for the next 10 days is still around 100F! Wow! Hang in here, Bret. Hope you will have relief soon. In Park City we have upper 70s now, it feels great. Finally! No signs of any color changes yet.
I plan on visiting Southern Utah in October, hope it will not be too late for colors. Anyway, I might contact you for the custom photo itineraries, if I decide to go to Moab.

Please Save some of those great shots for me in January, Bret, with some white stuff sprinkled on top.

You're just teasing me with those 70 degree temps, Gabi! Nights are nice and cool but our days are still HOT. I went for a hike around noon the other day (I may not be a smart man...) and it was stifling. I do have a nice farmer's tan, though.

October is not too late for fall color around here. You can find nice cottonwoods into November.

Lance: Don't worry, there will be plenty of awesome stuff around here for us to photograph in January. If we're good between now and then, the weather Gods might even give us a little snow. :jump:

Bret, you are funny with that hike at noon! Glad you survived.
