Was ironically just returning from the reception of the fine arts exhibit at the state fair when i spotted this storm headed toward pueblo west. I had to quick run to my house to get my remote, and managed to get off a few shots before the storm became high-precipitation and dumped golf ball hail on pueblo. Pretty cool storm.
This is the wall cloud nearly touching the ground as it churned through pub west.

That is one impressive storm cloud and with lightning to decorate it with makes for a great photo.
I don't play golf but I'll bet a few golfers were out swinging away when it was over.

You should have seen Mt. Evans and the rest of the northern Front Range earlier this morning. It looked like it snowed on all of the high peaks. Nice lightning capture Stan!

Although I enjoyed being in the mountains shooting, this is a storm I kinda wish I'd seen. The aftermath in our neighborhood is pretty substantial. This is another great shot, Stan.

I drove through the storm up in the mountains last night around midnight. Heaviest hail storm I've ever been through - it was hailing pea- and dime-sized hail faster than a good downpour! There must've been a half-inch on the road within a minute, and an inch a minute after that. And it was obviously not the first hail storm to have passed that way - there were occasional piles three and four inches deep along the roadside, too.
As Joshua noted, Mt. Evans and James Peak were visible with either hail or snow this morning; I wish I'd been able to take the morning to shoot; fog and low clouds were also plentiful.

Whoa! Stan, that cloud is both beautiful and ugly at the same time. Nice capture with the lighting too!
Cool shot, Stan. That cloud looks sick. We had a some powerful storms up this way, but it was 2 in the morning, and I didn't feel like crawling out of bed. Sunrise yesterday was spectacular though with the sky showing the last remnants of the storm.
