nest building linnet
One of my first frames through my d2h {before the meter gave up}.

Toggling to various AF area positions was alien to me at this time, and as i use my left eye to view through the viewfinder, the tip of my nose 'just' touches the multi-selector pad, and sometimes had moved my choice of AF area to the left :rolleyes: .After i discovered this may happen, i resorted to locking the AF area. However,i soon discovered that this may lose me valuable time if i needed to change the areas at quick notice, and i have now become accustomed to taking extra care, and now leave it unlocked at all times.

Fortunately {with this shot}, i just had time to release the lock, and move the AF area to a suitable position.

D2h
400mm/2.8
TC-16a
iso 400
bag hide
small crop
cloned a small blob on LHS

Alan {owner of a normal sized nose......honest :rolleyes: }

Hi Alan,

Superb image. Lovely and sharp with bags of detail and colour. I too am a "left hooker" but thankfully as you need about ten pairs of hands to operate the buttons on a 1D MKII I'm OK :biggrin:

Regards

Rob

Hi Alan

Lovely shot, no nits. good colour, detail and background. Quite a tightly framed shot, I would like a bit more space, but still fine as it is.

:toast:

cheers
