This is one of those water reflection shots where the image is turned up side down to show the reflected subject right side up, taken this morning at Beaver Lake as I was scouting a possible location for shooting Tuesday's lunar eclipse.

I like your concept Randy, and this is very nicely done.

I wish there were more west-facing vantage points around here.

This place might work, Bill, although I can't be completely sure because I failed to put a compass to it, but the opposite shore is low for the most part, and the near shore is traversable for maybe a quarter mile or so; so you're able to change your foreground to an extent by moving. It's located along Blue Springs Road north of Goshen and is at the first lake pull-off you come to. You may know the spot.

It's the same place I took this shot many moons ago, which may give some kind of idea of what I'm talking about.

I know generally where you're talking about, Randy. There are some beautiful views there.

I'm thinking about trying a high vantage point, so as to catch as much of the last partial eclipse as I can. There were some really nice clouds this afternoon at sunset - hope to get a few Tuesday morning.

I'm hoping to get the moon and moon's reflection in the same shot and am keeping my fingers crossed for an absolutely windless morning. It would also be nice to find the perfect tree, just on the shore, for the moon to sink into as it sets, but even if I could find that perfect tree, this time of year it would be all leafed out and would blot out the moon.

Anyway, good luck!
