Not a lot of color this evening, but liked the look of the perspective I was getting from this vantage point on the South end of Indian Beach. The wind was extreme, as were most of the evenings there, so it was tough getting this one. Thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment or suggestions...

I also like this. It's too bad there wasn't just a little more orange sunlight, or some alpenglow on the clouds to add some more color to the image. Nice timing on the waves. I wonder what this would be like with bigger waves? But then again, maybe you wouldn't even be able to be in this position.

It's almost always nice when we get more in color in the sky, but hey it's mother nature so you can't always get it. With that said I still like the comp of this image and it's processed very well.

Thanks for the comments! I'd have loved to have got closer, but it was too dangerous for my liking.. plus the wind was killer.. It worked out well shooting some 130 takes of this as the light changed.
Definitely very accurate for this evening, and was thankful for what I did get. The marine layer killed the sunset very quickly once the sun hit it on the horizon...
Hi, Ned,
I love the color in this. It's subtle and interesting. The sweep of the waves is wonderful, too, especially in the rlc. Nicely done.

Hey Ned. Welcome home :). This one isn't doing a whole lot for me. I think there's too much average mid-ground, and the waves action should either be more stop action or more blurry. I'ts not a bad image, but it doesn't get my juices flowin.

I really like the detail of the water in the foreground. The comp isn't doing much for me though.
