Flint Hills Summer
"Now how does this thing work anyway?" That's what I was asking myself after what seemed like an eternity since I last tripped the shutter. I took this shot Friday night and while the light was good, it just barely missed out on spectacular. I thought I was setup for one of those special nights and it fizzled out right in the last few minutes. Oh well, it felt good to be out in nature with camera in hand!

I really like the series of diagonal hills coming down. Nicely done!

Nice shot, Wayne, even if the wished for "spectacular" fizzled. The hills with just a smattering of trees look great. There's just enough tinge in the clouds to make them interesting. Glad you're back out there and exploring the Flint Hills (one of my favorite places  )

This is really nice Wayne. It reminds me of something that Thomas Hart Benton might paint. Very picturesque.
