Just returned from Vail where I was attending a conference and had a chance to make the 2-mile hike to Booth Falls near Vail. This 90-foot waterfall is located NE of Vail proper with the trailhead starting just off the frontage road about four miles east of the (main) Lionshead entrance to Vail. The trail follows to the right of the Booth Creek drainage, taking you through several groves of aspen and meadows. At about two miles, the trail makes a fork just below a large white-ish rock outcrop. For the best view, follow the left fork up over the outcrop, after which, the trail drops steeply down to an obvious viewing area. It continues from there down to the foot of the falls.
If you're looking for a moderate hike and picnic lunch, this would be just the ticket.

A friend and I were just talking about Booth Falls over the weekend. His description made it sound great, your photo proves him right!
