Fall is quickly approaching and being somewhat new to photography, I'm wondering where are some good places to shoot for the upcoming season. I know a lot of you guys have been shooting for years, so I'm sure you can add some great info here for any of us that aren't quite sure which direction to head. Feel free to add links to pictures that show the place your suggesting. That would be super helpful to get a feel for what would be in store.
Thanks, and happy Fall to everyone!!

Fall around here (I mean Mt Hood)is kind of hit and miss for comps, IMHO. I'm gonna head up to Mt St Helens. The way along there through Carson has plenty of color. A good vine maple image around Hood is hard to find. Silver Falls State Park east of Salem, OR is great in the fall. The gorge really isn't anything too special. Lots of Oak...and they turn yellow/brown kinda fast.

Mount Rainier, Paradise area, is hard to beat in a good year. Lots of huckleberry and mtn ash.

Thanks for the info guys.
I'm sorry, I just realized that there is a topic about this already at the top of the forum. Didn't mean to rehash info. Derrrr......

Here is a killer shot by Don Paulson of the Mount Rainier Paradise area:

That looks like a place with great Fall potential!
