(...As posted on M&N this evening...)
A semi-wide angle shot of Tillamook Rock Lighthouse offshore of Ecola State Park a few evenings ago. I had just finished shooting the opposite direction during sunset, and decided to shoot this low level image just before dark hoping for some unearthly look to the misty water in the foreground. The whole mood seemed to be hauntingly applicable to the current obsolescence of the lighthouse - now used as a columbarium.
Thanks for taking a look, I hope you enjoy it..

Wow..... I'm told that this lighthouse is rarly seen like this? Is this true? I love the spacing on the rocks.... what a beautiful image. If anything at all maybe I might crop a bit of the sky on the top but that's being really nit picky!

I love this view Ned and it's the best I've ever seen of Terrible Tilly. I especially like the way you captured the wave action and held onto the detail of the rocks!

Good timing on the waves here Ned. The rocks are well compsed too. Nice work!

Wowsers! This is super duper Ned. The water texture and pastel sky is awesome.

Thank you for all of the comments and critique - much appreciated! I think this is my favorite of the trip, and one I should take down to the gallery down there...

This is awesome, Ned. From the soft pastels in a turbulent sea to the delicate glow on the underneath of the glowering clouds. Someone above mentioned the spacing of the rocks being perfect and I agree. I really like this one. I'm sure the gallery visitors will too...

I agree that a tad less sky might help.
