It's been over a month since I created the time to go shoot. And so Sunday I drove to RMNP to pursue my favorite activity. Since the sky didn't light up I worked on this image for b&w since the monotone environment struck me as a good candidate for this sort of interpretation.
Comments and suggestions welcome.
Thanks,

AE, I think this is the first BW image I have ever seen of RMNP. Interesting. It has good depth and the mountain, presumably Long's is a little centered. I'd probably increase the contrast a little more.
Art, that looks fantastic
i wouldn't touch a thing. presumably that was shot late in the day and the lighting looks quite natural. you got me psyched to get out the next few weeks.

The scene is remarkable, with a lot of interesting elements and graduated lighting adding to the image. It's an interesting - and effective - composition. It's so tempting to zoom in more on Longs Peak that I don't think I've ever seen this wide of a shot from here. I think Bill's suggestion of working with the contrast could take it up one notch higher even. It's obviously a matter of personal taste, but if this were mine, I would try to bring some contrast out of the krumholtz on the right, enhance the contrast in the foreground rocks, and (possibly) Longs.
Nice shooting!

Very nice! The foreground looks a bit like a moonscape. Cool!
