Last Sunday morning, I witnessed one of the better alpine glows I have seen. This is my favorite comp from the morning. I would appreciate any suggestions for cropping, or any other image adjustments. Thanks.
It was very nice to finally meet you Darren. Can't wait to see your shots from this area.

S. Colony is one of those places that always seems to get killer alpenglow. Great shot, Momo. I'd actually suggest restoring a little bit of blue to the image. It looks a little bit too warm. Not much, just a bit.

That's sweet Momo! I agree with Todd... every time I've visited that area I've seen killer alpenglow... (knock on wood). I like how your comp is solidly grounded too. Did you climb the peak?

Todd, you are funny, as always. I will definitely add a bit of blue. Thanks for your input.
Hi Jack. I didn't climb the peak. I was actually quite sick last weekend, so I only made it to the upper lake.
Wow Darren, that first photo of yours is great. The upper lake is gorgeous. I'll have to go back there this fall.
Fantastic shot and light, Momo! that is some seriously killer alpenglow.

Great composition Momo. I think it could be improved with more contrast however, seems very flat with loss of detail in the mountain especially. No doubt this is a great image with a few more tweaks.

Nice image Momo. I have camped by the lake a couple of times and it is one of my favorite spots. Climbing the Peak and Needle are fun if you don't let go.
Lovely shot, Momo - that lake looks incredible with the reflection! I agree that it comes across a little too warm. No doubt the light has a lot to do with that, but for my personal tastes cooling it off would benefit the image. A good gauge is the sky - which looks to be on the lavender side of blue - or the foreground green grasses which I'd expect to look cooler in the shade (no pun intended).

Yeah, it sounds like I need to calibrate my monitor. I got this fancy LCD monitor and it does not even have an sRGB preset like my old CRT one. What a PITA.
Thank you everyone for their input.

That is a great alpenglow shot Momo! Love the way the reflection fills the lake.
