Just want my CANP friends to know.....
Get INSIDE the buildings, before sunrise & after sunset & possible night shots!!
One of my good friends, Jill who lived in Bodie as a Park Aide for 8 years,
suddenly due to unexpected circumstances ...(2 sad folks had to cancel)
has 2 spots OPEN..... to attend her 3 day Bodie-Ghost Town Trips
during the Eastern Sierra Fall color time!!
This is RARE as her 2 trips are and were always FULL! max:8x
She keeps the groups small so everyone can spend all the time they need
in the buildings instead of being rushed as in bigger groups.
This year it will also be during the New Moon period so perfect for Star Trails
either in Bodie or (along Mono Lake at night on your own)
My guarantee: You will NOT find a better, cheaper, more personalized,
small customized trip for you at this price anywhere!!
Session #2: October 10-12, 2007 (Wed-Fri)
Cost: $275 for trip PLUS $100 donation to Friends of Bodie
Deposit of $150 to hold your spot.
Best place to get a motel is either in Lee Vining or Bridgeport.

I am taking advantage of this opportunity. It should be fun visiting Bodie off hours and without the crowds. I am looking forward to meeting Jill and the other photographers. Hopefully I can shoot a bit of eastern sierra color as well.

Unfortunately now, I was just in a head-on car accident last Thurs,
so I couldn't go if I wanted...no car and MY body is not ready...
Camera is OK though....many other friends only asked about my camera
Lon, are you rubbing off on me??
I can't wait to hear all about it when you get back...
