Hi Guys,
Whilst i was waiting for a Kingfisher to show up at a hide i noticed two groups of Wild (Konik) Horses at the waters edge on the other side of the pool. There are only a few places here in Holland where you can find these Wild Horses and nature reserve the Oostvaarders Plassen is one of them. It was a great sight to see how these two horses started fighting and i was able to shoot a large sequence of the whole fight.
Greetings,

One of the best things in spending time waiting for something is you never know what else will turn up - bet this was a fun sequence and a nice shot here Jeroen.

Hi Jeroen great action shot here with the dust getting kicked up with the hooves. Nice setting.

Not ideal light, causing a strong shadow under the chin, but beyond your control obviously!
Nice one

Interesting Shot. The RSPB in Northern Ireland were thinking of getting a herd of Konik horses to keep the rushes and grass down on one of its reserves Portmore Lough. They are used by many nature reserves in Europe as they are happy living on very wet land.
