I reworked this image recently to give it a bit more feeling. Nothing drastic, just upped the contrast and tweaked the colors to move from a really cyan cast to more of a spectrum of blues.

I like the blues and the mood this conveys. If I were to do anything different it would be to tone down the white water a little.

repeat Mark's comments here... This is a really cool shot. I like how you managed to get a smooth metalic texture to the water.

The light and mood are beautiful, but the left side of the image is pretty blank, and dilutes the scene for me. As kind of a radical suggestion, how about a crop that turns the right half of this image into a vertical shot?

I have to echo what Tom suggested. The left side is pretty blank, but other than that, I love the color you chose.

the left part of the image is where your eye drifts and is the part that gives the image it's depth
cropping it still has good depth, but it just goes to the lighthouse and you are left pondering the lighthouse. leaving the left side of the image takes you eye to the horizon and sky that meet and because they blend together, you are left pondering the mystery of the sea and our insignificant size and our short time on the planet.
well i'm not sure about all that, but that's what i was just thinking

I appreciate the suggestions, but I have to agree with Michael, I think if you turned it into a vertical with cropping, you would be left with the worlds worst Lighthouse photo...
It's about the infinite, sky water thing, not the lighthouse. Of course maybe this comes through better in a large print, than a 720 JPG... and of course, maybe it's not the best photo of the sky water thing either...
I'll have to dig through that folder and see what other crops I have, maybe it could work.
