Mount Baker
No wind, no people, plenty of mosquitos, plenty of bites to show for it but a good way to spend a couple of days this week.

That cloud over the mountain takes this one up a notch for me. While I hate mosquitos as much as the next guy, being full of bites is usually an indicator I've been doing something fun.

So you got up there eh, Mark? That's a nice shot indeed. I didn't have that light when I went. And that is a cool cloud. It's as if the air were like the sea, the cloud like a piece of seaweed sailing along on the current and then wrapped itself around an atoll sticking up just enough to snag it.

Really nice, Mark - a magnificent capture with the cloudcap hanging off the summit! My only minor suggestion would be to darken/saturate the grassy area to the left of the pond with some burning.

This is a beauty Mark, the lenticular cloud adds a very elegant element to the image.
