First post from the Dahlia shots I got with Ned and Eric this morning. Going for more abstracts here, rather than the standard flower shots. Wondering what you think...

That is sweet. Awesome and unique, too.

Yep...It's definitely tilted to the left or right.....
Nice shot. DOF is sweet, kinda gives it a tie dye effect.

Cool colors... not that I really trust my PDA (as I'm waiting to catch a plane).
I like the drops of water.
I've shot dahlias at this phase before and always have a hard time placing the edge of the frame. This also seems to have that problem... maybe blur the edges?

Neat dude. My only nit is the out of place orange near the top right corner.

This is really sweet Rick, I'm all over it. I love the abstract nature of this one. Looks like you guys had quite a time.

Cool shot Rick. Very "modern art" looking. I know that's not very constructive but, I'm having trouble forming an opinion on this one. It is a nice shot though.

Man, this is awesome It has a really exotic, otherworldly look. It can't be easy getting the focus plane parallel to all the tips of thsoe petals. Good job!
