Two misses this morning...#%@##!! (series)
Miss 1: I have never gotten a pic of a Glossy that I liked. Today I see one in great light, except it wont get its face out of a shadow, and then to make matters even better, a White Ibis has to get into the act

Miss 2: This Snowy was too close for me to get all of it, so I sacrificed the caboose.

I tried saving Miss 2 with the old Head Crop, but i don't think so...

Hey Lance,
I'm sorry but I am glad that someone else also feels the pain of being so close yet so far from "the shot".
#2 doesn't look bad cropped behind the back leg. Atleast you were out there and that's not so bad is it?

Looks like you're out having fun anyway, and that's what counts! Number three looks good to me, a nice close up study. Color looks off though, might want to set your white point.

I'm glad someone is out shooting - i've haven't been out shooting for a long time. waiting for cooler weather i guess. I think i like #3 the best also.

Hi, Alfred.

Yep, that's where they were...it's the same place where I saw the Snail Kites.

Someone told me he's seen baby limpkins in the same area! I haven't seen them yet. I'll be out there Saturday.
