I spent a little more time tweaking one of last week's Buffalo River image.
Thanks for looking!

Very nice Tim! Love the vibrant greens.

Interesting shot Tim. The foliage looks ortonized while the remainder of the image looks to be processed through a more standard workflow. Any truth to that analysis?
Wonderful rich tones and a perfect reflection too.

It's all processed the same way (except for the brightest portion of the rocks on the river), and you're right - it's slightly Ortonized - a process that somehow lends itself to the greens in this image. You should see the print!

Hey Tim, just how large IS the print? And what paper are you using with your new baby for these color images? My wife wanted to remind you to remember to spend some time with your wife instead of spending all your time with your new girlfriend! Oh yes, and have you been following the "oil" discussion on LL? Sounds like you need to oil her up every now and then (your new printer not your wife)...

I like it, Tim! I'll bet the print is gorgeous too. While the river may be low, it's ideal right now for beautiful reflection shots like you've shown here.

Tim: I've printed several versions of this image on the Super B stock I on hand at the time - Crane Museo Silver Rag, Hahnemuehle Photo Rag, InkjetArt Luster, Epson Velvet Fine Art. And I liked them all! I hadn't been following the LL journal, but having seen some of the discussions, I think I'll start.

Tim, I'd be glad to see the prints. Just load them up in the car and come see me in Kansas City! Heck, to conserve gas going back, maybe you should leave one or two of them here!
