This was another taken on my trip to Corsica. The markings a less pronounced on the corsican flycatcher than the ones seen in the U.K,so I have read anyway.I dont like the blown sky but could'nt do anything about it,dont think it detracts too much!

Thanks John,Dave.

Would make life very easy if you could stage wildlife, but would take the fun out....

Nice shot. It's noticably browner that our Spotted Flycatchers, almost as if it's got a sun tan

Great bird, fine pose but I'm afraid the sky spoils it for me, it's just a bit too far gone IMHO.

Justin took words out of my mouth. I would definitely try to do something about sky in PS. Photo is good otherwise, so it's worth trying.

Cheers,
Marko

Stuart - great image, but that sky.........................

Definate candidate for either a bit of judicious clone stamping

After your suggestion that the sky could maybe need a little something,I have tried to mask it but feel I am not very good at this and might have made it worse.

The re-post works much better and now makes it a keeper IMO.
If you wanted to minimize your cloning I think you could quite easily loose some of the top of the frame and still be left with a good, strong composition.
