I've noticed the difference in a photo once the composition is fully illustrated through selective contrast control....dodging and burning etc.
I'm interested in learning the more kosher techniques and how I can improve my photos in at capture and in the 'darkroom'.
Can anybody suggest some books that may specifically address these issues for more advanced photo editing?
I have books by Martin Evening and Scott Kelby that are great for the use of photoshop, but not specific to landscapes.
thanks

You might look at what John Shaw has going - he moved to digital and had a nice CD book on processes for landscapes..

Thanks Ned. That led me the right direction. I ended up looking at a few of John Shaw's books, and it led me to a couple other good authors too.
