Taken a couple of years ago now as missed this years chicks Conditions were really bad and I was going to bin all these shots as they're a 50% crop and not as good as I would hope for really.
Quite liked this one so thought I'd share it

Looks decent to me, Graeme. I would try to tone down highlights on water tough. And too bad for that 50% crop.

I've not been able to get close enough for pics this year but every time I see the kids getting a lift it makes me laugh

Nice image-I have all summer shooting Grebes as we have had dire weather here as well the nest were constantly getting washed away,The last of the grebes hatched 3 weeks ago-I wonder why the chicks are in this position
