Ponds in the Sky
From the wild and wonderful Uinta Highline Trail.

those little ripples are fish jumping not sensor bunnies.

Mark,
Interesting pattern with the small ponds and vegitation. I like it.

Well seen, Mark.

I'm diggin' it. Love the curves and negative space.

Simple and effective. I might boost the contrast just a bit.

Love this perspective, but agree with boosting contrast a tad and maybe a tad more color added. I'd make this one sing a little stronger if it was mine.

I little curves or saturation would make this more wierd. Good eye here. If the fishies jumping are not obvious in a print or in your story to go along with it, I'd clone em out. I like it though Mark...

Looks like there should be a flag, a hole & Tiger Woods standing there.....( however this is a lot better since I am not into gold at all!). Very interesting image.. I'd be curious how your mom would paint this.

What a neat abstract! If your vantage point was a high as I think, that's one monster fish.

The distance between that finger and the far shore is about twelve feet. The ponds aren't really that big. We were up on a cliff watching some moose eat off to the left. I'll post that photo when I get home.

If you have seen the quality and brilliance of Mark's actual prints, they far surpass any of the jpeg presentations he puts here. I am blown away every time I go to his house and see them.... totally envious!

too bad you didn't get that fish mid air
