Sorry to be away for so long. Work related commitments and an ailing right knee had kept me sidelined for the last couple of months. However, things are improving on those fronts and I hope to be able to spent more time here on CANP. It was a pleasure to view the photos posted recently. Although its kind of late, I have left comments on many of these photos.

I find that its sometimes hard to back into the groove, after taking a long break from photography. Thankfully, a friend and I visited the Montery area on Labor day - the drive along Hwy 1 near Big Sur and getting to visit the art galleries in Carmel was just what I needed.

I will be getting bcak to my Coastal Stones series once again...I hope to have some new work to show soon. In the meantime, here is a photo that I finally completed last night.

"Naked Desires"
San Mateo Coast, California, September 2006.

Regards.

Hi Anil!! Hope your knee is better soon. I am itching to get up to the Bay area. Haven't been in a while. I really like your Missing in Action. Is this a combination of rocks/boulders and sand?

The 3d nature of this is very palpable Anil! Great graphical elements and lighting! I'm looking forward to seeing your forthcoming work.

Thanks Sharon and Cory for your replies. Glad you liked the photo.

Sharon: The title of this photo is actually "Naked Desires". It is part of my Rocks and Stones series. What you are seeing here are sandstone based tafoni formations.
