A couple of my first photos with my 40D. So far, I'm very, very happy with the camera. I'll be posting a photo I took of a heron this morning that turned out pretty nice. So far, I don't have anything negative to say about the new camera. I've used the live view for a couple things, and I feel like there is a noticeable difference in color depth compared to similar photos taken with my 40D. The viewfinder is much brighter, and I think focusing a little faster.
I like this photo mainly because of the three bees. It was pretty breezy today, so it was difficult to get razor sharp shots, but I enjoyed getting out with the new camera.
And here is the heron photo I also took this morning. I had a heck of a time getting this sharpened for the web, and it still looks soft to me. The heron is pretty much tack sharp in print.

I'm interested in this camera as an upgrade to my 20d. Mostly looking for larger view finder, and improved tonal range. Highlight Priority setting seems pretty cool too.
Where did you get the camera already?
