Giraffe
A happy Giraffe, getting to grips with the macbook pro really happy with it so far, the screen seems fantastic for a laptop.

Cheers now

Great shot, made me smile  Can I ask Tim which Macbook you're using? I have a Powerbook and it's starting to show it's age so I'm considering a new laptop. I've read that the new 15" macbook with the 'lcd' screen is meant to be the best there is, laptop wise?

Thanks

Hi Paul,
I got the 15inch, 2.2Ghz with 2GByte of ram, I decided against the more powerful version as it only gave a 10% increase in performance for a 20% increase in cost, I didn't go for the 17inch as you can nearly buy yourself a 23inch screen with the differance.
The screen and the ability to be able to run windows with vmware fusion, bootcamp, parallels etc sold it for me.
In comparison to PC laptops its also reasonably priced.

NIKON USERS. I downloaded the free trial of NX for the mac and discovered that my windows NX activation key activated the mac NX!

Thanks Tim, I think having the 15" version laptop along with a Mac 23" cinema screen would be a perfect combination. I shall have to write a nice note to Santa this year
