Combine ZM help needed.
Hi,

Inspired by Alan's recent stacked images I thought I'd have a go with CombineZM but I'm stuck at the first hurdle  . Can anyone help?

Converted 5 images to 8 bit tiffs.
Selected New and selected my 5 images.
Selected Do stack
It obviously done something as the PC was chugging away and the progress bar was indicating activity.
But that's as far as I've got. The screen above is showing and despite waiting 15 minutes nothing appears to be happening.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Hi Justin,

I use CombineZM often and as seen here Alan uses it to great effect, unfortunately it is a program that really has no support....

Have you tried combining a couple of images first? Just to find your way around..... you should get the save as option when the program has done its bit...

All the best

Phil

Thanks Phil.

I seem to have progressed a bit. Managed to save the image as a tiff and I managed to view the stacked result in Photoshop or Breezebrowser so that's a start.
Was just expecting it to appear in the Combine ZM window

Shame there's no help file with the program, although I guess I shouldn't complain seeing as it's a free program.

Hi Justin.

Your first problem is that you are using Tiff's.I as you tried Tiff's when i first started using that program. But the file size for each shot is way to big for it, which makes the program take ages to run.I only use Jpeg's in it.
