I spent Labor Day weekend in Glacier, it was my first time there and it was amazing and I plan on going back and hopefully even farther north. Here's a link to some images. Comments and hurled rotting fruit and vegetables welcome.
The thumbnails look incredible, but I must have a javascript issue, 'cause I can't get the full-sized images to show up when I click on the thumbs. Looks like an awesome portfolio.

Nice shots, Jeff. I went up there for the first time last summer. I'd love to go back and have some dedicated shooting time. I'd really like to hike into the north portions. A Canadian swing would be great too. Too many places to see!
Great shots of St Mary lake and Mt Gould!

Great collection the some of the top spots in Glacier. Is Going-to-the-Sun Road open now, or are they still repairing it?

Thanks for the checking out the images gentlemen. Going-to-the-Sun Road was open but under construction. There were traffic signals at the two sections where it was shut down to one lane. I waited no more than about ten minutes. I was told that it would be shut down at night after Labor Day, but you can still get to Logan pass from St. Mary Lake since the construction is all on the west side of the pass. adios.

Great shots! I've not been to Glacier, but your photos make me want to visit it soon.

You got some killer shots! My favorites are the Grinnell reflection, and the Mt. Gould zoom with the little tree in the foreground. Very impressive!

I am jealous you got some nice clouds when you were there. I have been up there a few times this summer, and usually it was just clear with maybe a cloud or two. This past weekend there was a light dusting of snow on some of the peaks and a nice chilly morning when I got to the top of Logan Pass.
Going to the Sun road is still open, but will close on the 9/16 so they can work repair the sections which were just patched earlier so it could open this summer. It will be closed at Avalanche Creek on the west, and Siyeh Bend on the east. I am still debating if I should do another trip up there this weekend, it's only a 2 1/2 hour drive to West Glacier.
