Here is another one I processed on my second wave.... went for a square crop as the DOF created a flower "floating" in mid-air...

This one works for me as well as any of the recent Dahlia photos. The color is wonderful and the dew on the petals adds a lot. I agree that the crop and DOF work well, also showing off the flower's symmetry and accentuating the center.

Beautiful work on the flowers Ned. Would be a great solo exhibit series somewhere. :toast:

Thanks for the comments. I have all of these recent ones printed and I am preparing them for the Coastal Artisans show this month..
