I had the best weekend for shooting I've had in a long time, bagging two fantastic sunsets. Friday night I hoofed up towards Baker and hiked out to Lake Ann, hoping that the fairly consistent cloud cover would clear up a bit - turns out it cleared a little more than I had hoped, but the light couldn't have been more dramatic. I had never seen alpenglow this radiant before anywhere. Enjoy.

Great comp and light Bryan! Only thing that kinda bugs me is the little rock in the lower right corner. I might do a little cloning to make it an under water rock.

I have been meaning to go to Lake Ann and this gives me more encouragement. Terrific alpenglow, perfect reflection, and that cloud is icing on the cake.

Now that Eric had to mention the rock, I have to agree with him. Other than that I like it.
I'd probably rotate it slightly CC; I do know that the shoreline throws the eye off a bit. I would also consider incorporating the rock from a higher perspective on your next trip, as the low perspective emphasizes the rock and consequently deemphasizes the size of the hulking shuksan. Exceptional shot, otherwise.

This is a gorgeous image, I love it. The rock doesn't bother me. Great capture!

I was on the edge about that little rock. I sort of like the accent it adds in the corner, doesn't bother me much, but I think I'll try one without it just for giggles.
Trevor, I couldn't go much higher or I'd lose either the sky or the shoreline would get thrown in the mix since the lake was down about 6 inches from its normal level. Besides, there are plenty of other shots emphasizing the 'hulk'.

Wow, this is one great photo Bryan! Well captured. I would however rotate it just a bit, seems a tad off to me. I can go either way on the rock, if it's not much trouble it may look a little cleaner without it though.

Beautiful Bryan, nicely captured and processed. I don't mind the little rock either, although if we're going to gang up on the little guy I would prefer it a little farther from the frame.
