Beach Huts...
20D, 20-35 @ 28, 1/60 @ f10, C-Pol + ND grad(2 stop I think), A-327 + BH1, ACR4.1 +CS3.

Hi,

Not my usual, and certainly a Man and Nature image...

A typical north Kent scene, and one that I see most times I visit for coastal birds, right next to where I park the car.

As said certainly not a subject I am any good at so wondered what opinions are.

All the best

Phil

I kindda like it in an arty way Phil - I'd have to clone out that tv ariel on the right hand hut :toast:

Phil, I do like these kind of shots and I always think it's great when people such as yourself take the time to try and capture the scene whereas most folks would just walk past not giving it a second look. Having said that for me this one doesn't quite work, imo it's cropped a bit too tight around the sides and bottom and I think I would have got down lower so as to just have the green lawn and the huts against a bright blue sky. Also not sure if i like that window showing on the left hut and as Andy says I'd clone out the ariel. Definately worth another go when you next visit.

Phil, An unusual shot for you! I like it and think that the panoramic framing works really effectively. My only nit is that the hut on the left hand side is a little too close to the edge making it seem like the white board on the sloping roof is cut off - oh that and the previosuly mentioned aerial. I actually like the window - it draws my eye into the hut which I find effective.

Thanks for sharing

Adrian

I like simple graphic of your photo Phil. My only nit beside aerial is fact, that roof tops are touching the horizon. Three steps step leather would help.

Cheers,
Marko
