Classic shot of a beautiful species. A Roller turned up near me a couple of weeks back, but sadly I didn`t get to see it.

Awesome looking bird Tim
Have you processed this on your laptop?

Hi Andy,
Yep I have processed all my recent africa efforts on the laptop, I'm missing a few of my usual tools for processing. The quality of this roller pic I know is poor, the light wasn't on my side so its quite noisey, but the colour of the bird perhaps helps it escape close examination.
I have a high quality african dove processed on this macbook which I will post this evening.
Cheers
Tim

Beautiful bird but I wondered why it looked a shade flat. Your last comment explains it all. I'm just catching up after six weeks away in Scotland and have just read about your accident. That is absolutely terrible and I hope very much there is no long term disability - what a way to ruin a holiday

Looking at light falling on perch, I would think of it as flat. But that aside, I like colour and pose of this Roller very much.

Looks like you had a great time in Africa, awesome shot & great colours to add. What a colourful species
Edit: I just read the thread you posted about the injury you encountered
All the best
