This morning I headed out on the Sandbeach Lake trail (RMNP) in the rain and fog. I didn't hit the trail till 6am as there didn't look like much chance of any nice light. When the trail ended at the lake, I couldn't see more than 30' ahead and so took out my map and compass and navigated towards Mount Orton. It was a steep slog over fallen trees and mossy rocks but just as I neared the tundra the clouds almost instantly parted. It happened so fast that I didn't have time to find a nice composition. I wish Todd was there so I could watch how he does it. I spent a nice morning up in the tundra along North Ridge below Chief's Head, Pagoda, Longs Peak and Meeker. I can't wait to get back up to this beautiful area of the park.
The "Cloudz" shot really appeals to me. I enjoy the sense of serenity conveyed.

Those mountains look HUGE in your shots. Well I know they are huge but especially so in these. I like the one you posted here and the cloudz ones the best. Makes me want to be there... now.

I love "Cloudz" very much! I also like that perspective of Longs, all sneaky and peeking out from behind.
