I was wondering if anyone had experience with or know of a vendor capable of producing large 8 x 20 foot wall murals? It's kind of an unusual request but I have a client in the healthcare industry who needs two large print projects done, one of which is the mural. I personally do not know of a lab capable of producing such a project, but would gladly like to hear your thoughts on this. I did make it clear to the client that the quality of this would depend on expected viewing distance.
Richard, I would try contacting Simplycanvas.com; not sure but they say any size is possible. Quite an image size! Good luck

I THINK PROLAB IN SEATTLE COULD DO IT.

Thanks guys, I checked out both sites, then was referred to Ivey Imaging in Seattle, who said they could handle that.

Is the requirement for a SINGLE piece ?
I've seen this done before with overlapping verticle strips of 40" thick paper-vinyl....
kind of a wallpaper treated for inkjet printers.
It looked pretty good, especially since you had to view it from at least 5 foot away.

I used to work for a company in Raleigh NC that specialized in large prints.

Maybe they can help you.

Interesting. Thanks guys, i'll check them out for future reference. The company has a vendor they would like to use already so I guess that is what we'll have to go with. It is basically going to be a vinyl wallpaper coated w/ material.
