From another list;

We (Nikon Inc.) have posted some new Nikon software this morning.

Nikon ViewNX-
View NX is a powerful new software application for viewing NEF RAW

We're having some problems with other region download at the moment,
so please be patient and try to get it from the region you live in to
prevent problems with future updates. THANKS

How large are the downloads, David? Still stuggling with 14 dialup service here.

Hank,

Transfer is about 37M and ViewNX about 48M. Shouldn't worry about it at the moment though. Seems to be very popular and hard to connect to the server. The Canadian one, haven't tried the American link but imagine it would be the same.

I just downloaded them without a probelm at all. Haven't played with Transfer but a quick tour through ViewNX looks like just what I have been hoping for. Glad they finally decided not to charge the $35 they were originally thinking a while back.

I have always used Nikon View to edit images from a shoot and get rid of the images I don't want. This looks to be even better at that and finally ads some useful IPTC editing capabilities. Good work Nikon!
