I shot this at Clifty Falls State Park about a month ago, right after a heavy thunderstorm, I was wondering if you thought the blue hue in the water and the bright spot on the left hurt this image?

Bernie,
To me it kinda of does. If you shot this raw maybe you could play with it a bit. I'd also deal with some of the shadows on the right. Otherwise I like the comp. Sure you ain't in Oregon?
PS__It was 95 yesterday with 10% humidity. Feels like Phoenix--- short lived though--back to normal tomorrow I hear.

The blue hue doesn't particularly bother me but the highlight is a little much. As i view the image my eye keeps drifting off the LH side...I want to know what is further left....perhaps a tangled mess of nothing but that's where my eye is drawn.
I agree with Mike, my eye tends to wander left but this is an interesting spot and composition. I think that if you can work with this a bit more per Jack's suggestions it might balance a bit better!
I'd work on bringing some detail back to the highlights in the lower left corner and then opening the shadows a touch (as Jack mentioned). Compositionally I find it to be engaging and a bit mysterious as it's so tight on the bottom. The blue works for me. Cool shot!

Bernie, I don't have anything to add to the previous comments except to say that this will be an amazing shot in a few weeks, as long as you still have water. Really like the composition!
