Little Grebe screen test
Hi All,

While I've been away my old trusted CRT monitor has gone pop. So today went out and bought a LG L194WS TFT. I am very pleased with the quality of it and the colours seem so much more vibrant, so I have processed this image in my normal way.

I would like to know if the image looks OK on your monitors, re colours etc.

All comments welcome

Regards

Rob

PS In CS2 I have some how managed to get a grid appear in each window I am working on, has anyone got an idea of how to get rid of it as it is driving me mad

Rob - go View>Show>Grid and untick - should make it go away

Nice cap but looks like it needs a bit more saturation and a bit of anti-clockwise rotation.

But a nice image overall imho - good job :toast:

Good picture - looks a trifle dark on my set up but saturation seems OK.

Great shot Rob - on our work screens here it looks a tad dark but colours look fine. As Andy mentioned could do with a bit of ccw rotation.

Rob,

Looks OK on my LG1720's (colour managed) - as mentioned a tad dark, but that could just be processing.

Colour looks fine of my managed system, just a tad dark... are you calibrating and profiling? Be aware that some profiling systems recommend a luminance value of around 140 cd/m2 for LCD monitors, this is really too high and you are better calibrating to as close to 100 cd/m2 as you can get.

All the best
